Capital Chris

'Capital Chris', aka 'cap-c' (formerly known as 'young daywalker') Began his musical endeavors in 2004 as the drummer for several punk and metal bands. It wouldn't be until nearly 5 years later that he would pick up a mic as the vocalist of the successful rapcore metal band 'Fight for a pacifist'. Those years would serve to hone Cap's skills with a pen and his love for the art of wordplay that would forge him into his 2011 breakout role in the hip-hop world, 'Young Daywalker'...

under the tutelage of NC's very own hip-hop general 'seven da pantha' and NC greats 'Ed E. Ruger' and 'Ty bru', a foundation of lyricism, emotional delivery, and thought-provoking content was instilled. An album entitled 'i live' was written, performed, and much of it recorded. sadly, due to a series of unforeseeable circumstances, the album would only ever see the light as a fraction of itself much later. the original recordings were lost, the lyrics destroyed, and only what could be memorized was saved. This served as the catalyst behind the rebirth of 'young daywalker' as the ever-evolving 'capital chris'...

Cap has since performed and collaborated with the likes of 'Rehab', 'rittz', 'yellawolf', 'whitney peyton', 'Big B', 'a.b.k.', 'lil wyte', and many more. however, for him, all of that pales in comparison to meeting his brother in lyrical arms, BAMbam the voodoo chi7d. now, with a new mission in life, a 'fuck you if you don't like me' attitude, and stronger drive than ever...time will only tell what's next for Capital chris...
